| Who: | Cellmania, Inc. |
| What: | mFinder sites |
| When: | 2000-01 |
| Roles: | Project manager, interaction design, process flows, graphic design, HTML prototyping |
Cellmania, Inc. created the largest database of mobile internet sites called mFinder, which is available on the web or on the phone. mFinder content is sold to wireless providers who want to place it on their sites or on their phones when customers sign up for service. Cellmania sets up an instance of the mFinder content and customizes the look and feel to match that of the client's corporate identity.
I organized and defined the user tasks of mFinder and created a use model with interaction details for the initial Cellmania mFinder. For subsequent mFinders built for external clients, I acted as project manager, working with the client contact to write specs, organizing the development team and project schedule, guiding a visual designer to create graphic elements, and working along with the QA team to verify site integrity. Among the clients I helped to develop sites for were Cingular, AT&T Wireless, the Motorola Developers group, AirTel (India), Orange (India), and CelCom (Malaysia).
